Join us for breakfast and be inspired by Wendy as she shares some of the highlights, challenges and the lessons learned from her long and distinguished career in the resources sector. 

 

About Wendy King
President, Australian East - ConocoPhillips

Wendy began her career as a petroleum engineer with Conoco Inc. having received a Bachelor of Science Degree in petroleum engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Since then, Wendy has held various technical and leadership positions in the resources sector across the United States, the United Kingdom and Africa. 

In 2017, Wendy was appointed as President, Australia East, following her secondment to Australia Pacific LNG as Vice President, Commercial. Prior to starting with Australia Pacific LNG in 2011, Wendy held number leadership roles in ConocoPhillips Alaska, serving as the Vice President, External Affairs and as Manager, Alaska North Slope  Gas Development.

In addition to her leadership positions in the exploration and production industry, Wendy currently serves as a Director for the Board of American Chamber of Commerce in Australia (AMCHAM) and the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA). Wendy is strong supporter of STEM and diversity and inclusion in the resources sector.
